I'm German — a web developer with a lot of experience: 25+ years building for the web, with a core in PHP backend work (REST APIs, microservices, fintech) and full-stack delivery across PHP 8 and React/TypeScript.

What I'm most fascinated by right now is what AI is doing to the craft — how it changes coding, automation, and the whole shape of building software. I'm deep in it daily: AI-assisted development, agentic tooling, automating the tedious parts of my own workflow, and figuring out where a human engineer's judgment actually matters. A lot of what I write here comes out of that exploration.

Beyond the engineering, I write about neurodivergence, recovery, and rebuilding a life deliberately — some of it in Russian. That work is quieter and more personal, and it shares this space with the technical writing rather than hiding from it.
